Hey all,
I’ve been thinking about extending my Scourge of the Vector universe. Over a weekend that shall be dubbed “Bogroll shan’t be had” one of my best friends rattled through it and thought the story could have done with more padding (which was his way of saying “it’s too short, it could do with more!”).
We had a quick chat about the possible consequences of events which transpired during the short story, and he threw a few suggestions of his own to pile on some ideas I’d been flirting with ever since I finished writing the first draft of it on a balcony in Majorca.
I won’t spoil the story for you, but I will reveal that the Vectors are an aggressive species of being that have nothing but domination and subjugation in mind for anyone who crosses their path.
Like the novels of Marko Kloos and M R Forbes (I suggest you check them out), an intergalactic fight for survival against an alien race makes great reading and the idea of furthering that particular story arc has now joined the vastly increasing pile of “Novels to Write”.
Anyway, I’ll get back to the task at hand and finish my current project!
